Service Description

At Social Supports SA, we provide Therapeutic Supports to help NDIS participants build emotional wellbeing, life stability and practical coping skills through structured, person-centred support. This service focuses on capacity building, mentoring and skills development that support participants to manage daily life, relationships, and community participation. Supports may include: Coaching with emotional regulation and coping skills Building routines and structure to reduce overwhelm and improve stability Support with communication skills, boundaries and healthy relationship habits Confidence building, self-advocacy and goal setting Support to navigate stress, transitions and challenging life events Practical mentoring to strengthen independence and participation Support to attend allied health appointments and follow through on recommendations (where relevant) This service is delivered in a calm, respectful and strengths-based way. Supports are tailored to individual goals and may be provided independently or alongside a participant’s broader therapeutic team. Session length is flexible and can be tailored to goals and support needs.
