Service Description
At Social Supports SA, we provide Psychosocial Support to help NDIS participants living with mental health and psychosocial disability build stability, confidence and everyday functioning. This service focuses on practical, person-centred capacity building to support recovery-oriented goals, routines, independence and safe community participation. Supports may include: Building daily structure and routines to support stability and reduce overwhelm Support with motivation, confidence and re-engaging in everyday activities Coaching with coping skills, emotional regulation and stress management strategies Support to access the community safely and reduce isolation Assistance with appointments, follow-through on support plans and life administration Support with communication, boundaries and relationship skills Encouragement and mentoring to strengthen independence over time Our approach is calm, consistent and respectful. Supports are tailored to individual goals and may be delivered alongside a participant’s mental health team or allied health supports. Session length is flexible and can be tailored to goals and support needs.
