Service Description
At Social Supports SA, we provide Group & Centre-Based Activities supports to help NDIS participants build social confidence, develop skills and enjoy meaningful connection through structured group programs. This service supports participants to attend centre-based activities and community group sessions in a way that is safe, inclusive and aligned with their goals. Supports may include: Support to attend group programs and centre-based activities Encouragement to participate, build routine and strengthen engagement Assistance with social confidence, communication and community behaviour expectations Support with transitions, emotional regulation and group participation skills Help to plan and prepare for sessions (timing, reminders, transport coordination) Coaching to build independence and comfort in group environments Our approach is calm and person-centred, supporting participants to feel safe, included and confident while developing social skills and community participation over time. Session length is flexible and can be tailored to goals and support needs.
