Service Description
At Social Supports SA, we deliver Innovative Community Participation supports to help NDIS participants build confidence, social skills, and meaningful connection through community-based activities. This service supports people to explore interests, strengthen communication skills, and develop practical independence — in real-life settings, at a pace that feels safe and achievable. Supports may include: Building social confidence and community participation through structured outings Support to explore hobbies, interests, groups, and local community programs Coaching to develop communication, emotional regulation and social boundaries Support to reduce isolation and build safe, respectful social connections Assistance with planning, preparation and follow-through (routines, transport, appointment attendance) Skill development in real-world environments (problem-solving, decision-making, confidence in public settings) Our approach is calm, person-centred and strengths-based, helping participants build independence while increasing safety, belonging and participation in community life. Session length is flexible and can be tailored to goals and support needs.
